DeJager, Albert infant son of P. born Oct 1895 died Dec 1895 at over 2 mo. Assumed to be buried in Sherman township cemetery, no headstone.

A son Albert De Jager was born 6 Oct 1895 to Piet De Jager and Nellie Zwart, the second son Albert was born about 1897 as was three years on 1900.

Last week, Mr. and Mrs. P. De Jager lost their youngest baby of more than two months. Saturday was the grave service led by H. De Jong.

The 1900 census of Sherman Tsp. Sioux county lists Peter DeJager born May 1873 Iowa wife Nellie born Aug 1876 Holland, Married 1894 children Harry 6, Albert 3 and Sarah 8 mo.

The obit of Peter DeJager 1873-1960 lists death of two daughters and a son. His wife was Nellie Swartz.
