Mrs. Peter Van Kalsbeek, 72, Hospers, died Wednesday at Orange City Hospital.

Services were at 10:30 a.m. Saturday in Hospers Christian Reformed Church. The Reverend Gerrit Docter officiated. Burial was in the Hospers Cemetery under direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home of Sioux Center.

Mrs. Kalsbeek, the former Gertrude Kooiker, was born June 2, 1908, at rural Orange City.

She was married January 1, 1937, at Hull.

Survivors include the widower; four sons, Ronald of Hospers, Willis of Sheldon, and John and Gary, both of Orange City; three sisters, Mary Kooiker of Hull, Mrs. Helen Kroese of Hull and Mrs. Jennie Vander Weide of Sioux Center, and 10 grandchildren.
