The funeral of Mrs. Jurie De Bruin occurred Thursday from the Holland church. It was one of the largest ever held in the city, a testimonial of the high esteem with which our people regard the deceased.
Another paragraph:
Mrs. Jurie De Bruin died last Tuesday night after an illness of several weeks. She was a Christian woman and a true wife and all will sympathize with the sorrowing husband and friends.

Obituary – On July 5, in the evening at six o'clock, my beloved wife Berendina, born Ridder, died in the age of more than 34 years. Due to prolonged illness, she was completely exhausted, but she remained good with her knowledge until the end. That she feared the Lord was from seeing through her life, and in her death she had the comfortable expectation to be with Jesus.
