Funeral services for Anthony Van Holland, 47, who died unexpectedly Thursday, January 24, at his farm home near Sioux Falls of a heart attack, were at 12:30 P.M. Monday, January 28 at the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home here, and at 2 P.M. at the Netherlands Reformed Church in Rock Valley. Reverend J. Van Zweden officiated, and burial was in the Valley View Cemetery here.

Born in The Netherlands June 25, 1909, Mr. Van Holland came to Rock Valley as a young man and lived here until moving to the Sioux Falls area a year ago.

Anthony married Margaret Van Galen on November 27, 1942, at Dakota City. They farmed near Lester, Inwood, Rock Valley and Hartford, South Dakota.

Survivors include the widow; a son, Herman and three daughters, Henrietta, Alberta and Jacoba, all at home; a brother, Gerrit J. of Rock Valley, and a sister, Mrs. A. Brown of Sioux Falls.
