Ralph Van Ginkel, 77, Rock Valley, died December 30 in his home. Services were January 3 at Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Mr. Van Ginkel was born June 18, 1899, in The Netherlands.

He came to the United States with his parents, Evert and Gertrude (Van Donkelaar) Van Ginkel when he was two years old.

He married Effie Maassen on Feb. 20, 1925, in Rock Valley. They farmed in the Inwood area until 1956 when they moved to Rock Valley.

Survivors include the widow, two sons and others.
