Died: December 11, 1972John Van Gelderen, 78, of Sanborn, died Monday, December 11, in the Sheldon Hospital. Funeral services were held Wednesday, December 13 in the Sanborn Funeral Home. Burial in the Valley Cemtery, Rock Valley.
He was married to Dena Dykstra on November 20, 1919 at Rock Valley. They lived at Rock Valley, Fairview, South Dakota and Melvin, retiring in 1949 to Sanborn.
He is survived by a sister-in-law, Mrs. John C. Dykstra of Rock Valley.
