Ida VanDer Zwaag, 91, of Hull died Sunday, December 19, at McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls.

Funeral services were at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday at the American Reformed Church in Hull with the Reverend Steven Bierly officiating. Burial was at Hope Cemetery in Hull.

Mrs. VanDer Zwaag was born Marcn12, 1908, at Sioux Center, the daughter of Jacob and Anna (VanDer Vilet) Jans. She was raised at Boyden. She married Clarence VanDer Zwaag at Boyden on January 28, 1931. The couple farmed at Hull. He died October 28, 1980, in Sheldon. She moved into Hull in 1981.

She was a member of the American Reformed Church in Hull where she participated in the women's activities.

She enjoyed crocheting, working puzzle books, listening to music and singing.

Survivors include her two sons and their wives: Gerrit and Marilyn VanDer Zwaag and Jake and Sandra VanDer Zwaag, all of Hull; her daughter and her husband, Clara Ann ad Bernard Schiebout of Orange City; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandson; three sisters, Grace Hibma of Maurice, Angeline Tiedemann of Sibley and Harriet Vander Zwaag of Sioux Center; and a brother, Jake Jans of Clarkfield, Minnesota.

She was also preceded by a daughter-in -law, Verna Jean VanDer Zwaag; four sisters, Henrietta Jans, Tillie Wolters, Jacob Kleene and Carried Mulder; and two brothers, Henry and Marion Jans.
