Mrs. Bouke Vander Zwaag died at her home near Newkirk Wednesday morning at 3:30 A.M. She suffered a stroke while milking Tuesday evening and her husband carried her into the house. She lived till the next morning.

Mrs. Vander Zwaag was born Jennie Tuinstra in The Netherlands in 1873. She came to this country when she was 15. In 1893 she was married to Bouke Vander Zwaag.

Surviving here are her husband and four daughters, which are Hattie, Mrs. Ed Boone of Orange City; Gertrude, Mrs. Bernie Grooters of Newkirk; Anna and Edith at home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday afternoon at the home at 1 o’clock and at the First Reformed Church of Newkirk at 2 o’clock.
