William Vande Stouwe Laid to Rest in Hope Cemetery Saturday

The remains of Mr. William Vande Stouwe of Rock Valley, who passed away last week, were brought to Hull last Saturday afternoon and interment was made in Hope Cemetery.

Mr. Vande Stouwe was an old time resident of Hull and had been a manager of a lumber yard in Rock Valley for many years.

He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, Bertha M. (Davis) Vander Stouwe and one daughter, Mrs. Harold Miller, and two grandchildren, Five brothers and one sister also survive. They are:, John, Bert, Alfred and Gerrit Vande Stouwe all of Hull; Henry Vande Stouwe of Whiting, Iowa; and Mrs. Ben Vande Berg of Sioux Center.

William Vander Stowe Funeral Held Saturday

Funeral services were held Saturday at Rock Valley for William Vander Stowe, 68, who died Wednesday following a 5 months' illness. Reverend M. L. Jones of Rock Valley had charge of the services. Burial was in the family lot at Hull, Iowa.

Mr. Vander Stowe was a brother-in-law of F. J. Davis, and the late Art Davis of Sutherland. He is survived by his wife, a daughter, Mrs. Harold Miller of Orange City, two grandchildren, a sister and four brothers: Mr. and Mrs. F. J. Davis, Mrs. Minnie Davis, Mrs. Harold Elsbury, Mrs. Ray Davis and Miss Mary Williams were at Rock Valley to attend the funeral.
