Died: March 6, 1918

The editor and family were grieved, Wednesday evening to learn of the death of Mrs. Wiebe VanderSchaaf, of near Hospers, who had undergone an operation, Monday at St. Joseph's hospital at Sioux City for gall stones. The operation apparently was a successful one, but the system could not stand the shock.

Mrs. Annie (Sipma) VanderSchaaf was an aunt of the editor and leaves besides her husband, Wiebe and eight children to mourn the loss of a mothers care.

We go to press to early to give any of the particulars of the funeral.
