MRS. JOHN DE KRUYF RITES HELD HERE MONDAY, AUGUST 16

Funeral services were held at the First Christian Reformed Church here at 10:30 A.M. Monday, August 16, for Mrs. John De Kruyf, Sr., 80, longtime resident of Sioux Center, who died August 13.

Services were conducted by the Reverend B.J. Haan and burial was made in Memory Gardens here with Vander Ploeg's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.

The former Clara Bakker was born in The Netherlands July 24, 1891, and came to the United States in 1915, two years after she was married to John De Kruyf.

Survivors include the widower; three sons - Leonard of Sioux Center, Iowa, Henry and John, both of Artesia, California; three daughters - Mrs. Harold (Nellie) Hollander of Wellsburg, Iowa, Mrs. Chris (Elizabeth) Leeuw of Artesia, California; and Mrs. Allen (Clara) Eisma of Ireton, Iowa; 22 grandchildren; 15 great- grandchildren; two sisters - Mrs. Joseph (Lena) De Ridder and Mrs. Simon (Elizabeth) Moos, both of The Netherlands.
