Word came to Hull, Wednesday morning, that Mrs. William Bakker, mother of Mrs. John DeWild, had passed to that bourne from whence no man returneth, at the home of her daughter.

Pieterje (De Kock) Bakker was a lady of 80 years of age and was suffering from a lung trouble, which together was the cause of her death.

She was born at Herwynen; Netherlands, and came to this county some twenty seyen years ago.

She was a woman of fine disposition, motherly traits and a true Christian, who will be missed by all who knew her.

The funeral will be held in the First Reformed Church at Sioux Center, Saturday, April 6, 1912, the services being lead by her pastor - Reverend A.W. Dejonge of the First Reformed Church, of Hull.

She leaves eight children - Mrs. John DeWild, of Hull; Mrs. Henry VanZee, of Middleburg; Mrs. R. Jongewaard, of Sioux Center; Mrs. G. Hulstein and Mrs. H. Wesselink, of Carmel; Mrs. A. TenHaken and Mrs. George Casw«ll, of Hull and Mr. Gerrit Fikse, of Sioux Center - and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn a great loss.

We join our sympathies, with those of the friends, that are extended to the bereaved.
