MRS. D. VANDER PLOEG

Mrs. Dick Vander Ploeg passed away on Thursday May 13 at 5:00 p.m. after a long period of uncomplaining suffering.

She was born Anna Limburg at Ridot, Illinois on August 9, 1879.

On February 11, 1909 she was married to Dick Vander Ploeg of Orange City, Ia. The remainder of her life was spent in Orange City.

Surviving are her husband, who for years was in business here and her sons Stanley of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Freeman who is in the army and is stationed at March Field, California, three grandchildren, a sister Mrs. William Ekema of Hancock, Minnesota and a brother, Peter Limburg of Austinville, Iowa.

Preceding her in death were a daughter who died in infancy and three sisters and two brothers.

Funeral services were held Monday afternoon in the home and in the First Christian Reformed Church with Dr. Bronkema officiating. Interment was in the Orange City cemetery. Acting as pallbearers were Peter Wiersma, Gerrit TerHorst, Neil Grifhorst, James Den Hartog, Sr., Melle De Jong and Jake Dokter.
