Miss Jennie Roetman who has been in very poor health for almost a year passed away suddenly Saturday morning at the age of 48 years. Funeral services were held at Trinity Reformed church on Monday afternoon with Rev. Colenbrander and Rev. Heemstra officiating.

Research note: From a report on ancestry.com (by others) found that Jennie was the daughter of Gerrit Roetman born 25 Oct 1829 Kampen Netherlands and Marrigje ‘Mary’ Kanis 1849-1934. Their children listed were Henry Roetman 1877-1911, Zwier Roetman 1878-1966, Gertie Slothouber 1881-19168 and Jennie Roetman 1884-1932.
