LITTLE CHILD CALLED

Harold Cyril Vander Berg was born June 22, 1917, and was 4 years, 7 months and 19 days old when he died. He was a chubby, happy, little fellow and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Vander Berg.

On Tuesday morning last week, he took violently sick and on Wednesday evening he was taken to the hospital where an operation for appendicitis was at once performed but he died Thursday morning.

The funeral was held Monday afternoon with services in the First Reformed Church in charge of Reverend Douwstra, was attended by a large concourse of friends and relatives.

Thus over a happy home the shadow of a little grave has fallen; and as it has been said, it is wonderful how long a shadow a little grave can cast. May the sorrowing parents find solace in their loss in the words of Him who said, “Suffer the little children to come unto me.”
