Cheryl Ann was born at 7 months gestation. Being 1954, the Dr told her parents she had deformities. That she would not live long. She passed away at 8 hours old. She is buried in Hawarden Iowa. In the area of the Bryson family. Mom said she was a beautiful baby. She was the only one who got to see her. Dad was not allowed in the room, and the nursery was closed up. The casket was closed. First time mom got to hold her was when she went to heaven.

SERVICES HELD FOR VANDE POL INFANT

Graveside services were held Monday for Cheryl Ann, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Vande Pol, with Reverend S.A. Kruschwitz officiating. Burial was under the direction of the Barnard Funeral Home.

Cheryl Ann was born prematurely Sunday night at the Hawarden Hospital and died early Monday morning.

Besides the parents, Arthur and Ella (Bryson) Vande Pol, she is survived by her maternal grandfather, Joe Bryson and paternal grandmother, Mrs. Etta Vande Pol of Ireton.
