Mrs. John Vanden Brink nee Minnie Van Peursem of Maurice died there last week after an illness of over a year with cancer.

She was 43 years old and is survived by her husband and three children, also her aged parents. Mr. Vander Brink and children have only just recovered from typhoid fever.

The funeral was held Saturday from the First Reformed Church of which she had been a member since her youth.

The funeral for Mrs. John Van Den Brink, who died Friday morning after a long illness was held in the Dutch Reformed church Saturday afternoon at two o'clock in the presence of a large number of friends and relatives. Services were conducted by Rev. Van Der [unreadable] and Rev. Dickens at the home at one thirty. Pallbearers were her six brothers, Rev. John Van Peursem, Rev. Gerrit Van Peursem, Henry, Will, Martin and Peter...[unreadable]... Besides these brothers, she leaves to mourn her departure her aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Van Peursem, a sister, Mrs. Will De Jong, her husband and three children, Mathilda, George and Ada. Mrs. Van Den Brink before her marriage which took place November 26, 1900, was Miss Minne Van Peursem, and at the time of her death she was 42 years old. She was a member of the First Reformed church and was always a very active worker for her church. The grief stricken family have our heartfelt sympathy.
