Mrs. Art Vanden Brink passed away at the Sheldon Hospital at the age of 80 years, 11 months and 21 days. On November 15, 1937, she was united in marriage to Art Vanden Brink, who now survives. She is also survived by one granddaughter, Wilma Goemans; one brother, Henry De Vries of Sioux Center and two sisters, Hattie, Mrs. John Te Slaa and Tillie, Mrs. Will Rikkers, both of Hull.

She was preceded in death by one daughter and one son in infancy; one son, William Goemans, in March, 1952; five sisters, Katie, Mrs. G. Vander Garde; Lena, Mrs. John Scholten; Gertrude, Mrs. E. Van Putten; Bessie, Mrs. Peter Vander Berg; Winnie, Mrs. John Smith and one brother, Abe De Vries.

Mrs. Vanden Brink passed away Monday morning and funeral services were held Wednesday at 1 o’clock at Vander Ploeg’s Funeral Home and at 1:30 at the First Christian Reformed Church with Reverend B. J. Haan officiating.

Pallbearers were Al De Vries, Gerben De Vries, Gerrit Te Slaa, Gerrit Van Putten, John Vande Garde and Henry Rikkers.
