Henrietta Vanden Bosch, 88, of Rock Valley died Sunday, May 23, 1993, at the Hegg Memorial Hospital in Rock Valley. Services will be held today at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Trinity Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Reverend Jelmer Groenewold officiating. Burial will be in Valley View Cemetery, Rock Valley. Visitation will be all day Tuesday, with the family present 7-9 p.m., at the Porter Funeral Home in Rock Valley.

Mrs. Vanden Bosch, the former Henrietta Vande Vegte, was born June 30, 1904, in Rock Valley, the daughter of Nick and Mary (Ver Burg) Vande Vegte. She married John Vanden Bosch March 4, 1925, in Rock Valley. The couple lived in the Rock Valley area all their married life. He died January 19, 1986.

Mrs. Vanden Bosch was a charter member of the Trinity Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include two daughters and their husbands, Nina and Marvin Bolkema of Sheldon and Loraine and Ililbert Vande Kamp of Rock Valley; two sons and their wives, Leonard and Geneva and Marvin and Neil, all of Rock Valley; 21 grandchildren; 50 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Mrs. Cora Postma of Rock Valley, Mrs. Ada Van Grouw of Orange City, and Mrs. Nellie De Kruyf of Sioux Center.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Bert Vande Vegte and Henry Vande Vegte; and a sister, Marie Driesen.
