Funeral services for the late William Vanden Berge were held Saturday, July 24, at the American Reformed Church with the Reverend J.A. Veldman officiating.

Mr. Vanden Berge died Thursday, July 22, at the age of 76 years, 11 months and 7 days, at the Grossmann Hospital, due to a heart condition.

Burial was made at the Nassau Township Cemetery at Alton with the following pallbearers: John Van’t Hul, John De Beer, Fred De Beer, Roy Bouma, Harry Van Wyk and Dave Siebersma.

Mr. Vanden Berge is survived by one brother, John, who lives at George, Iowa, as well as several nieces and nephews in this vicinity.
