A particularly sad death occurred at the Hull Hospital Wednesday when Gerrit Vanden Bosch of Sioux Center suddenly was called to his eternal home. He died of peritonitis and septicemia. He was buried last Saturday, the Reverend Lubbers officiating.

He leaves a widow, Johanna (Westra) Vanden Bosch, and five small children to mourn his departure. The eldest child is eight years of age and the family have only been in this country about a year coming direct from Holland to this town. The family will be cared for but it is one of the sad cases we find in the affairs of life taking some of the joy of life taking some of the joy of life when we see the troubles of good people on every side.

The sympathy of the entire community is with the mouning family.
