George Henry Beck, 80, of Sequin, Texas, formerly of Chatsworth, died March 17, 2003. A ceremony will be held at Grace Hill Cemetery in Hawarden at a later date.

George Henry Beck was born in Chatsworth on January 5, 1923 the son of Fred and Jennie (Timmer) Beck. He was raised in Hawarden. He was an Army Air Corps WWII Veteran. He was employed in the accounting and office managerial fields.

Survivors include his wife, Mildred (Kosier) Beck; children: Susan of Arizona; Mike of Texas; Merle of South Dakota; Marshall of Texas; and Sandy of California; brothers: Jay, Bill and Fritz;and sister, Bernadine Danielson.
