Services held for John E. Wiersema

Funeral services for John Wiersema, 65, of Orange City, were held Wednesday, August, 20, 1969 at the American Reformed Church with the Reverend A. Hook officiating. Burial was made at West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of the Van Etten Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Anthony Van Oort, Henry Muilenburg, Lawrence Wiersma, John Doppenburg, Clarence Balkema and Harold Miller.

Mr. Wiersema passed away at the Orange City Hospital on Monday, August 13, after an illness of five weeks.

Mr. John Wiersema was born November 15, 1903. He married Irene Nieuwenhuis on January 19, 1928.

Surviving are the widow; one son, Marvin of Orange City; one sister, Mrs. Ethel Kraayenbrink of Orange City and one brother, Elmer of Orange City; and one grandchild.
