Died: June 13, 1940Eise Wiersma of Middleburg died Thursday morning at 8 a.m. at the age of 61 years and 6 months at his home. His death was due to heart trouble and other complications.
He was born December 12, 1878 in The Netherlands. He married Miss Johanna De Vries.
He is survived by his widow; 3 children, John, Ethel, Mrs. Dick Kraayenbrink, and Elmer; 5 grandchildren, and 1 brother and 2 sisters; Ben, Mrs. Gerrit Willemson and Mrs. Pleun De Zeeuw.
The funeral was held Monday at 1 a.m. at the home and at 1:30 a.m. in the Reformed church in Middleburg, with Reverend Mr. F. B. Mansen officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery at Sioux Center.
