FUNERAL HELD FOR EIGHTY YEAR OLD HULL LADY, WHO DIED LAST WEDNESDAY MORNING.

Funeral services for Mrs. Bouke Wierda were held from the home and from the Christian Reformed Church in Hull Saturday afternoon, with Reverend Zylstra of Middleburg and Reverend A. Cammenga of Hull officiating.

Mrs. Wierda had reached the age of eighty years and until shortly before her passing enjoyed very good health.

Burial was made in Hope Cemetery.

Tryntje Terpstra was born at Minnertsga, Friesland, Netherlands, on August 30, 1863, the eldest child of Gerrit and Rena (Mierdema) Terpstra.

On May 18, 1889, she was united in marriage to Mr. Bouke Wierda. In April of the year 1897 they came to America, settling in Orange City. Later they farmed near Newkirk, Boyden and Hull.

She died in the early morning of November 17, 1943, after an illness of a few days.

Surviving are her husband and one brother, William Terpstra of Edgerton, Minnesota.
