Eppe Wieringa, father of Mrs. Bert Medema, passed away in Sheldon and funeral services were held there last Tuesday with burial in the Hospers Cemetery west of Hospers.

Eppe married Ettje Vander Veen in 1902 in the Netherlands. Eppe, Ettje and their children came to the United States in 1922. They are the parents of four children: Jessie b. October 25, 1905 d. July 27, 1996; Henry b. March 5, 1908 d. May 15, 2002; Nellie b. February 6, 1910 d. July 6, 2010; and Greta J. b. February 18, 1912 d. March 20, 1985
