A FRIEND PASSES AWAY---MRS. PETER L. WIELENGA

Mrs. Peter L. Wielenga died December 16 at the Orange City hospital after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. December 20, at the First Christian Reformed Church, Orange City. The Reverend Edward Blankespoor and the Reverend John B. Hulst officiated. Burial was in West Lawn Cemetery. Van Etten Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.

Gertrude Roghair was born January 31, 1895 at Pella, Iowa. She married Peter Wielenga on February 3, 1916. They farmed north west of Orange City until 1954 when they moved to Orange City.

Survivors include four sons Louis, Edward, Marion and Stanley; three daughters: Mrs. Lloyd (Hendrine) Van Gorp, Mrs. Syne (Esther) Wynia and Mrs. Martin (Geraldine) De Jong, all of Orange City. Also 21 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
