Died: 1904John “Jan” Adriaanes Warntjes, an old gentleman of Maurice, died suddenly last week of heart failure.
He was planting potatoes and feeling weak walked to the house where he immediately expired.
Note: He was born to Adriaan and Gesien (Bakker) Warntjes on January 24, 1837. He was married to Geeske Boelens.
