Funeral services for Mrs. Adrian Warntjes, 61, who passed away at her home Tuesday, October 30, after an illness of four months, were held at the First Reformed Church Friday, November 1. Reverend G. Douwstra officiated. The remains were laid to rest at Hope Cemetery.

Mrs. Adrian Warntjes, nee Lena Remmers, was born in the Netherlands on June 27, 1874. In 1898 she was married to Adrian Warntjes and they came to this country the same year and lived near Maurice and Orange City for a short time, then moved to Hull, where they lived until their deaths.

Four children were born to them, all of whom are living as follows: John of Hull, Gerrit of Hynes, California, Sena Mrs. Gerrit Nyhoff of New Jersey and Jeannette of Hull. Besides the children she is survived by five grandchildren here and a brother and sister in the Netherlands. Mr. Warntjes passed away several years ago.
