Hendrika Johanna Oonck married Reverend John William Warnshuis in 1868 in New York.

Hendrika and John are the parents of five children:

~Nellie J. b. March 16, 1869 d. August 21, 1946
~John William b. May 27, 1871 d. May 19, 1941
~Abbe Livingston b. November 22, 1977 d. April 17, 1958
~Edward J.H. b. February 18, 1878 d. December 12, 1896
~Frederick Cook b. June 10, 1880 d. January 6, 1946

After Hendrika's death, John married Anna Christine Schmidt in 1885 in Alton, Iowa.

John, Anna and the family moved to Michigan where John was a Dutch Reformed Minister. John and Anna are the parents of Louise E. , Henrietta, George, Henry, John H. & Anna.

John died in 1901 and Anna died in 1943.
