Funeral services for Mrs. Agnes Rose Wagner, 80, a lifelong resident of Alton, were held Monday morning at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Rt. Reverend Monsignor Zeno Reising officiating at the Requiem Mass.

Mrs. Wagner died Thursday at her home following about a week of illness.

She was born November 13, 1880 at Alton. On February 10, 1902, she was married to Theodore Wagner at Alvord, Iowa. Mr. Wagner died in 1953.

Surviving are a son, James of Omaha; four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Law of Chicago, Mrs. Loretta Smith of New York City, Miss Lillian Wagner of Cedar Falls and Mrs. Phyllis Hendershott of Ames; two brothers, a sister and five grandchildren.
