Henry M. Twillman, 80, passed away at the Orange City Hospital Thursday, August 21, 1969. Funeral services were held on August 25 at the Dow Funeral Home in Ireton with Reverend Arthur Anacker officiating. Burial was in Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Ireton. Military graveside ceremony was conducted by Bertram Post #276 of the American Legion.

Organist for the funeral service was Mrs. Vernon Eilts, and the soloist was Miss Belinda Eilts. Casket bearers were Grary Ten Napel, Dennis Ten Napel, John Van Beek, Bass Muilenburg, Hollis Karr, and Kenyon Karr.

Mr. Twillman the son of Mr. and Mrs. Luder Twillman, was born March 5, 1889, in Washington Township near Ireton. He was a veteran of World War I and a 50 year member of Bertram Post #276 of the American Legion. He farmed near Ireton until his retirement in 1941.

Survivors include two sisters, Mrs. Reiner Onken of Ireton and Mrs. Martha Luschen of Hawarden, and two brothers, George and Adolph Twillman both of Ireton.
