Margaret, the oldest daughter of Mrs. Tuynman Wajer, died in a sanitarium at Worthington, Minnesota, of tuberculosis on Tuesday November 14, 1939.

Margaret Tuynman was born near Rock Valley on March 17, 1917, and when she was 6 years of age her father John Tuynman, passed away on March 19, 1923. She entered school here and attended the grade school and the first year high school of the Rock Valley Public School.

In February 1938 she entered the Faille Music Institute in Minneapolis to study music which she intended to make her life work.

Margaret attended the Sunday School and Junior Epworth League of the Rock Valley Methodist Church before moving with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wajer, to Dundee, Minnesota.

She graduated from the Slayton High School. In June she was taken to the tubercular sanitarium at Worthington.

She leaves to mourn two sisters and two brothers, her stepfather and her mother and the half brothers and sisters.

Funeral services were held in the home near Dundee on Saturday morning and in the Methodist Church of Rock Valley at 2 o’clock Saturday afternoon. Interment was made in Valley View Cemetery.
