Theodore Timmons, 61, of Hawarden, died Saturday, February 21, in a Sioux City hospital.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, February 23, at the Dow Funeral Home in Hawarden with Reverend Arthur Rude officiating. Mr. and Mrs. Hal Shoemaker provided the music, "What A Friend We Have In Jesus" and "Abide With Me." Casket bearers were Howard Newman, Marvin Waterman, Larry Kelhower, Tom Burke, Ray McPherson, and Bruce McPherson. Interment was in Grace Hill Cemetery under the direction of Dow Funeral Home.

He was born April 10, 1908, in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. On March 26, 1958, he married Betty Hout in Luverne, Minnesota. He was employed by the City of Hawarden.

He is survived by his widow; stepsons, Terry and William Hout of Hawarden; brothers, Ben of Hawarden and Washington of Peterson; and a sister, Mrs. John Vogelzang of Creston.
