She taught school and on February 25th, 1910 she was united in marriage to Mr. John Ten Harmsel at Sioux Center To this union, two daughters were born, Jennie, now eighteen years old and Anna, seventeen years old, who with their father are left to mourn the loss of a kind and affectionate wife and mother.

Mr. and Mrs. Ten Harmsel lived in the vicinity of Lebanon the first few years of their married life, coming to Hull in 1915, where they have since resided.

Besides her family Mrs. Ten Harmsel is survived by three brothers: J. J. and P.J. De Vries of Sheldon and Reverend H.J. De Vries of Ontario, California; two sisters, Mrs. P. Brouwer of Sanborn and Mrs. Henry Boeyink of Sioux Center; and one half-sister, Mrs. Reverend A.H.
