Old man, Hermannes Ten Harmsel who arrived here recently from the Netherlands to make his home here with his son, John Ten Harmsel, was taken suddenly ill last week and died after a few days.

Hermannes Ten Harmsel was born on August 16, 1846, in The Netherlands. He had two sons with Jenneken Roelofs between 1885 and 1877. He died November 30, 1920, in Iowa at the age of 74, and was buried in Sioux, Iowa.
