Mrs. Grada J. Teerink, mother of Mrs. John Roetman passed peacefully away at the home of her daughter in Lake Park last Saturday afternoon at the age of 83 years.

Mrs. Teerink had been making her home with her daughter for the winter, and while not being in the best of health had not been ill. Saturday in the morning she came out in the kitchen and wanted to help her daughter with the dishes and at three o'clock she passed away sitting in her chair.

Her remains accompanied by her daughter Mrs. Roetman left Tuesday morning for Orange City where burial will be made Thursday of this week.

The many friends of Mrs. Roetman extend their sympathy at this time.

Mrs. Teering [sic], who made her home with her daughter, Mrs. Roetman at Lake Park, died last Saturday at the age of 83 years. The body arrived in Orange City Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. Willemsen.

Funeral services were held here this Thursday afternoon at the First Reformed Church, Reverend Colenbrander officiating.

Arrived in New York on 16 November 1892 sailing from Rotterdam, Netherlands on ship Amsterdam.
