Jennie Te Brink, 90, died Saturday afternoon, July 19, 1980, at the Heritage House following a long illness. Jennie was born January 18, 1890, in Appledoorn, Netherlands, the daughter of Dick and Naatje Vink. On November 30, 1910, she was married to Bert Te Brink at Orange City. The couple spent most of their married life in Orange City. Mr. Te Brink died in 1969 and Mrs. Te Brink moved into the Pioneer Home in 1972 where she stayed until moving into the Heritage House in 1976.

Mrs. Te Brink was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church and “Thy Kingdom Come Society.”

Services will be held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday, July 22 at the First Christian Reformed Church, Reverend Thomas Vanden Heuvel will officiate.

Mr. and Mrs. Ronald Schaap will have the special music accompanied by Mrs. Peter Jeltema at the organ. Casket bearers will include Lester Mars, Rodney Vanden Brink, Clifford Korver, Lloyd Te Brink, Brian Mellema and Ronald Te Brink. Interment will be in West Lawn Cemetery under the direction of Van Gelder Funeral Home.

Survivors include: two daughters, Mrs. Peter (Nettie) Mars and Mrs. John (Amy) Van Engen, both of Orange City; three sons, Dick of Alton, John of Orange City, and Alfred of Denver; 31 grandchildren; 53 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Dick (Nettie) Verdoorn of Orange City and Mrs. Peter (Henrietta) Kallemyn of Denver. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bert; two daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Jacobsma and Mrs. Bernice Mellema, a twin sister, Mrs. Johanna Wielenga and four brothers, Albert, Gerrit, Dick, and John.
