TRACY VANDER SCHAAF Tracy Vander Schaaf, 95, of Hull died Friday, Oct. 11, in Sioux Center. Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 14, at the American Reformed Church in Hull with the Rev. Phillip Sneller officiating. Interment was in Hope Cemetery.

Tracy Vander Schaaf was the daughter of Dries and Fannie (Van Berkum) Van't Hul. She was raised at Hull. On February 28, 1919, she married Harry Vander Schaaf at Hull. They farmed near Doon for six years and then moved into Hull. Mr. Vander Schaaf passed away Dec. 2, 1982, at Sioux Falls, S.D. In June 1985, Mrs. Vander Schaaf became a resident of Pleasant acres Care center in Hull.

She was a charter member of the American Reformed Church and belonged to the Reformed Church Women. In earlier years, she had been a Sunday School teacher. She was also a longtime member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Hull. Since childhood, she was a gifted poet.

Survivors include her six children, Esther, and her husband, Gerrit Prange, of Spencer; Mildred Walsten and Robert, both of Oceanside, Calif.; Genevieve, and her husband, Tommy Griffin, of Klamath falls, Oregon; Harlan, and his wife, Marilynn, of Chesterfield, Missouri; and Dennis, of Fort Bragg, Calif.; 13 Continued to page 18 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 9 great-great grandchildren; two sisters, Fannie Ten Haken.of Hull and Coba Vande Garde of Boyden; and brother Jake Van't Hul and his wife, Winnie, of Hull.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Marjorie Czekaski and Carol Frances, in infancy; granddaughter Rhonna Horney; five brothers, a sister, two sons-in-law and a daughter-in-law
