Frank Tastove died at his home in Granville early Friday morning, April 3rd after a lingering illness of many years, due to heart trouble and old age. Mr. Testove was 84 years old, one of the early settlers of this locality. He moved to town eight years ago.

Frank married Catherine Jasper on September 18, 1871 in Dubuque, Iowa. The union was blessed with eleven children, five preceding him in death. He is survived by his wife Catherine and six children: Henry of Westphalla, Kansas, Edward of Lakefield, Minnesota, Frank of Primghar, Mrs. Frank Vonderharr and Mrs. Bert Christianson of Granville and Mrs. Lesly Daugherty of Hospers; also 29 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 9:00 A.M. Monday, April 6, Reverend Gerlemann officiating. The pallbearers were, John Beckman, Henry Oberman, Henry Bernard, Jim Krause, Barney Koob, and Fred Lechtenberg.
