Jeanette Tamminga, 73, of Hospers, died Thursday, December 30, 1993 at the Orange City Hospital.

Memorial services were held at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday at First Reformed Church of Hospers. The Reverend Mike Pitsenberger officiated. Burial was in the Hospers Cemetery prior to the service under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home, Hospers.

Mrs. Tamminga was born February 12, 1920 in Sanborn, the daughter of Harry and Josie (Elgersman) Buysman. She lived her early life in the Sanborn area. On September 20, 1945, she married Daniel Tamminga in Sibley. The couple lived their life in Ocheyehan and Hospers.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Donna and her husband, Don Meyer of Spencer; a son, Glenn and his wife, Karen of Des Moines; two grandchildren, Daron Meyer and Justin Tamminga; a sister, Harriet and her husband, John Jensen of Worthington, Minnesota; and two brothers, Don Buysman and his wife Marlys of Sibley and Lester Buysman and wife Joan of Worthington, Minnesota.

She was preceded in death by a brother, a sister and a granddaughter.
