Ralph Stuit, 73, Hospers, died October 26 at his home of a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. October 28 in the Christian Reformed Church. The Reverend Peter De Haan will officiate. Burial will be in the Hospers Cemetery under the direction of the Vander Ploeg Funeral Home, Sioux Center.

Mr. Stuit was born May 30, 1903 in the Netherlands. He came to America at age 16. He married Martha Pott February 7, 1934 at Hospers. He was a retired farmer.

Survivors include his widow; two daughters, Mrs. Junior (Janice) Poppema of Hospers and Sandra of Grand Rapids, Michigan; a son, Alvin of Hospers; seven grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Gilbert Van Wyk of Lodge Pole, South Dakota; a brother, Peter of Hetlinger, North Dakota.
