MRS. WILLIAM J. SUTTON PASSED AWAY SUNDAY FOLLOWING LONG ILLNESS

Mrs. William J. Sutton, who has been ill for the past year at Independence, Iowa, died at that place last Sunday, January 2nd. Mr. Sutton, who is a member of the Sutton Brothers Contracting Company, left for Independence immediately upon receiving the sad news and accompanied the body here Wednesday. Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o’clock from the house, Reverend W.A. Winterstein, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Interment was made in Grace Hill Cemetery.

Ida B. Fulton was born in Windsor, Canada, July 20, 1880. She was united in marriage to William J. Sutton, in Kansas City, Missouri, January 28, 1905. They then moved to Cedar Rapids, Iowa, where they resided a year.

Four children were born to them: Mabelle, Ida, Charles and Helen, all of whom are now living. Besides her sadden husband and four children, she leaves a mother, Mrs. Matilda (Bissell) Fulton, and a sister, Faye, both of Kansas City, Missouri.

The sympathy of the entire community is extended to the bereaved husband and children.
