Funeral services were held at St. Mary Catholic Church in Alton October 10 for Felix N. Streff, 87, of Alton, who died October 8 at the Orange City Hospital.

Services were conducted by the Reverend Norbert Boes and burial was made in the parish cemetery at Alton.

Mr. Streff was born June 25, 1883, the son of Mathias and Susan (Frantzen) Streff, at Alton. He married Anna Pottebaum June 26, 1911, at Alton. He farmed near Alton until his retirement.

Survivors include the widow: three daughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Stella) Frederes of Alton, Mrs. George (Callista) Frederes of Remsen, Mrs. Ray (Charlene) Scheitler of Le Mars; seven sons, Clarence, Irvin and Francis of Alton, Vincent of Remsen, Robert of Sauk Centre, Minnesota, Clifford and Raymond of Slayton, Minnesota; a brother, Al, of Alton; 46 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren.
