Jennie Driesen August 31, 1914—July 2, 1994 Jennie Driesen, 79, of Rock Valley died Saturday, July 2, at Valley Manor in Rock Valley. Services were Wednesday at First Christian Reformed Church in Rock Valley with the Rev. C. Eric Fennema officiating. Burial was in Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley.

Driesen was born on August 31, 1914, in Rock Valley, the daughter of John and Hattie (Van Grouw) De Boer. She married Bert Driesen on September 10, 1934, In Rock Valley. They lived near Rock Valley until 1963, when they moved into Rock Valley. Her husband died on August 6, 1987. She moved to Valley Manor in 1988.

Survivors include five sons, Harold, Gene and Donald, all of Rock Valley, Bernard of Boyden and Marion of Oostburg, Wisconsin; four daughters and their husbands, Elaine and Howard Van Otterloo of Salem, Oregon, Helen and Ken Remmerde of Aumsville, Oregon, Carol and Rodney Sandbulte of Rock Valley and Diane and Harry Rozeboom of Inwood; a sister, Hattie Cleveringa of Rock Valley; 34 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Oscar, Gerrit and Arthur De Boer; and three sisters, Cora Otten, Effie Van Middendorp and Gertie Van Middendorp.
