Henry Driesen
Mr. Henry Driesen, age 91, of Hull; passed away Sunday, February 2, at the Sioux Center Community Hospital. There was a memorial service on Thursday, February 6, at 10:30am, at the First Christian Reformed Church in Hull. The Rev. Carl Klompien officiated. Interment was prior to the service at Valley View Cemetery in Rock Valley. The Oolman Funeral Home in Hull made arrangements.

Henry James was born November 14, 1911, near Rock Valley, the son of James and Hendrikje (Everboer) Driesen. He attended country school. On January 20,1938, he married Harriet Gerritsen at Rock Valley. They farmed near Sioux Center until 1951, when they moved to a farm near Hull. In 1976, they retired into Hull. In November of 2001, Mr. Driesen became a resident of the Sioux Center Community Nursing Home. He was a member of the First Christian Reformed Church.

Survivors include his wife, Harriet; a daughter and her husband, Wilma and Bob -Brink,, of Sheldon; a son, Arlin Driesen, of Sheldon; seven grandchildren, Marcia, and her husband, Peter Fedor; Randy Horstman, and his wife, Julie; Adam Driesen; Alex Driesen; Andy Driesen; Shelly Driesen; and Shea Driesen; three great-grandchildren, Carly and Jillian Horstman, and Rachel Fedor; two brothers; John Driesen, and his wife, Nellie, of Rock Valley; and Ed Driesen, of Remsen; and two sisters, Jen Bouma and Tena Gerritsen, both of California. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five sisters and a brother. Memorials will be directed to the Hull Christian School.
