Mrs. John Draayer, 88, died at her home July 11. Funeral services were held July 14 in the First Reformed church with Rev. H. Colenbrander in charge and burial was in the local cemetery. She was born November 7, 1862, in Heerde, Gelderland and came to America with her husband and two children.
Survivors include the following children: Ben of Orange City, John and Henry of Ireton, Gerrit of Maurice, Minnie, Mrs. Sam Wynia of Sioux Center, Chris of Orange City, Bert of Hollandale, Minn, and Albert of Artesia. She was preceded in death by her husband who passed away October 23, 1950, two daughters, Cynthia who died March 14, 1935, Mrs. Gerrit De Weerd who passed away December 31, 1939 and by six children who died in infancy.
Note: The 1925 Iowa census identified her as Willemina Riphagen born 1863 in Holland, her parents were Berend Riphagen and Anna Telgan
