Mrs. John Draayer – Funeral services were held Wednesday July 31 at the Ireton Christian Reformed church for Mrs. John Draayer, 72, who passed away Monday July 29, at the Le Mars Hospital.

Rev. Hulst officiated at the services. Burial was made in Orange City cemetery, under the direction of Van Etten Funeral Home. Pallbearers were Harlan Nyhof, Leonard Nyhof, Rolyn Nyhof, Gilmer Nyhof, Calvin Nyhof and Tunis Vollink.

Mrs. Draayer nee Rena Kas, was born Feb 21, 1885, at Orange City. She was untied in marriage to Reinder Nyhof in 1905. To this union three children were born, namely, Henry, Rena and Gerrit. Mr. Nyhof preceded her in death April 4, 1912.

In 1914 she was untied in marriage to John Draayer. To them as born one daughter, Wilmina.

Survivors include the widower, two daughters, Rena at home and Mrs. Herman Vollink of Ireton, two sons, Gerrit Nyhof of Sioux Center and Rev Henry Nyhof of Fairview SD; one brother; one sister and 17 grandchildren.
