DIES FROM SHOTGUN WOUNDS
Arthur Disbrow Fatally Injured by Accidental Discharge of Gun. Arthur Disbrow, the fourteen-yearold -son of Clarence Disbrow of Alcester, was fatally shot while out hunting Monday with his younger brother, Maxwell Disbrow, aged ten years.

The accident occurred shortly after the noon hour and the lad died about two o'clock the following morning from the effects of his injuries. Just how the accident, occurred will probably never be known. According to the story of 'Maxwell Disbrow, the younger brother they were out hunting with Team and sled. Both of them had gotten out of the sled and walked some distance away for some purpose, leaving their shogun in the bottom of the sled. When they returned Maxwell states the he climbed in over the side of the box and his brother came up behind the sled and was just ready to get in when the gun was in some manner discharged. He states positively that he did not have his hands on the gun and thinks he must have stepped upon it in such a manner as to cause its discharge.

The charge of shot tore a hole through the rear end gate and then struck Arthur full in the face and chest. Some of shot entered directly into his mouth and some went through his heavy, clothing and, penetrated clear to his lungs. Nearly twenty shot were scattered over his face. At first it was thought that he might recover, but his injuries proved more serious than was apparent and. he lived only a few hours.

Funeral services were held yesterday at Alcester, Rev. C. W,. Heady, pastor of the Hawarden Baptist church, conducting the services
