A.D. Disbrow, 72, of Alcester died on Tuesday of last week, December 20, at the Panska Nursing home in Hawarden. Mr. Disbrow had suffered a broken hip in a fall Funeral services were held a Alcester Saturday afternoon with Rev. J. A. Sanaker in charge. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery

Mr. Disbrow was born August 20, 1878, at Hawarden. His father was in the implement business here. Later he moved to Alcester where for a number of years he farmed. Later he engaged in piano tuning. He lived at Aberdeen, S, D for a time, but two years ago re turned to Alcester.

Survivors are five daughters Mrs. E. F. Dannenbring and Mrs H. W. Larson of Alcester, Mrs Lloyd Anderson and Mrs. H. I Thompson of Sioux City and Mrs Chester Bomar of Burbank, Calif, a son, Clarence Disbrow of Holly dale, Calif.; 16 grandchildren am 11 great grandchildren

They had seven children, he died Dec 26, 1950 and was buried in Ireton IA. He was the son of Arthur Scofield Disbrow and Mary Elvina Hoard.
